About the Artist

In painting, I seek to create a connection with my viewer - sharing an experience - but free to take our individual impressions away.

I use transparent watercolor on paper…to convey my excitement interacting with simple objects, ordinary events, and extraordinary places and people.

Recent exhibitions include juried exhibitions of the Baltimore Watercolor Society and the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, in which I hold signature status, and the Philadelphia Watercolor Society.

I will be forever grateful to Daisy Eiman for encouraging my interest in watercolor in her Thursday morning Arts Center workshops. While the Pocono mountains remain my primary inspiration, I am also inspired by the city - the buildings, the little sparks of nature, the grand vistas, and lives of the infinite variety of its residents –  by my travels in the world, and around the corner.
